The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature (Astronomy Day)

Saturday, May 15 is Astronomy Day and we’re celebrating with a big bang! Visit the Museum from 10am-2pm for a special live star talk in The Planetarium, a crater-making experiment, an opportunity to ask a Celestron rep your telescope questions, and more! All activities are included with Museum admission. Then, thanks to our partners at Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources Department, you can join us at Robinson Preserve that night for an opportunity to view Mercury, Venus, and the waxing moon (if the weather cooperates!). We bring the telescopes and the expertise; you enjoy the wonders of our universe. 🔭 🌠
